Mobile Applications Developer

Netchemia is adding highly skilled Mobile Applications Developers to our rapidly growing team that is self-motivated, customer focused and results driven. In this role you will execute a strategy to develop, maintain and support features of Netchemia’s cloud-based talent management platforms for K-12 education.

Develop and maintain mobile applications complementing the TalentEd K-12 education talent management platforms.

• Work closely with the platform architect, product director and your peer developers to design and implement state-of-the-art mobile applications complementing our cloud based software using using native coding technologies for iOS & Android mobile devices as well as HTML5/CSS3 web technologies.

• Collaborate with the development team supporting ongoing web development projects.
• The ideal candidate has experience with client-side / device-side application development.

• Work closely with other members of an Agile product team to build the best software on the market.

• BS or BA in Computer Science with a strong academic record

• 1-2 Years of Experience developing mobile applications (Android, iOS, Windows)

• Experience successfully publishing applications to the Apple App store/Android Marketplace

• Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills along with strong work ethic
• Experience developing, testing, and deploying applications for iPhone, iPad, and/or Android. In particular, experience with native SDKs, UIKIt, Core Animation and Core Data are a plus. 
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS, AJAX and JavaScript required.  
• Previous experience with popular JavaScript toolkits (jQuery) a plus.
• Mobile Web experience with popular frameworks (jQuery Mobile, Sencha, PhoneGap, AppMobi) a plus.

• Experience writing Objective-C and Java

• Solid Understanding of SQL Server or other relational databases

• Knowledge of web services, and agile development methodologies desired
